First Sunday - T. Mason
T. Mason has returned to the music scene with a message for the youth through the music which he expressed on a record titled “Exodus Freestyle” off his brand-new EP titled “First Sunday” consisting of 4 tracks that bring a new message but delivered in a way that’s nostalgic for his fan base in the peach state.
2017 T. Mason released a self-titled EP “T. Mason EP” that exploded on the music scene in Atlanta, accompanied by his collective “All Black Congress” during this era I was becoming more familiar with who T. Mason was as an artist and just how influential the whole “Black Congress” movement was on the scene in Atlanta. Delivering the infamous stand out records “Run That”, “Work”, & “Nigga Tendencies”. The EP in its entirety put T. Mason in a lane of his own and opened doors for what was to unfold in his music career.
Two years later he released the highly anticipated 10 track album “Got Home Late” with the popular records “Main Focus”, “Cruise Control”, & “OG”. Just like anybody else who is living life the go through setbacks along the journey in pursuit of a goal, and T. Mason is really no different. After the release of “Got Home Late” the All-Black Congress artist got married and had a baby which is a wonderful thing for any man to experience but he also, went through situations that prevented him from releasing new music to his fans. From 2020 - 2022 he released a couple singles that fed his fan bases appetite for a time, a couple being “Usual Suspects” & “Lord Knows”.
Fast forward a few years and T. Mason is back in motion fresh off the release of “First Sunday” he is about to release a brand-new project titled “Pretty Trim Season” set to release this august. If you are a fan of T. Mason then by now you know we are in for something special, he always delivers great rollouts/ promotion when it comes to his work. First Sunday was a great re-introduction into the scene. Atlanta got something brewing, if you are a music junkie, now is the time to stay tapped into the scene.
