Clbrks

CLBRKS is a very interesting rapper coming straight out of the UK, I just so happened to check out some music from an artist I listen to and just so happened to stumble upon a record called “Red Snapper” a single off of the EP titled “Igloo” produced by Dylantheinfamous released in December 2019. Delivering smooth and transitional rhymes CLBRKS truly stands out from a lot of artists I have come across this year.

With early influences from Collectives like Odd Future, “CLBRKS” had to become more well-rounded with his subject matter in music, although fans gravitated towards his earlier music, he felt it didn’t truly represent his personality. I’m hearing his earlier work really set the tone for his career artistically. A couple I have heard about being in the conversation to projects that really helped mold Conrad’s trajectory are “Habits 2” and “A Place I Got Lost In”.

In London, there are many dope creatives and artist that have a lot to offer not just musically but all around the board, with many searching for a place to call home many gravitate towards two of the biggest labels across the pond. “High Focus Records” and “Blah Records”. While every label or collective might, have their own niche or type of sound High Focus is known to have more of a Boom bap rap sound, in comparison to Blah which in Conrads words offered something different with a different, which is why he signed with “Blah Records”.

Often music comes from experience, and what I mean by that is, you have to go through things have different experiences in life, see new things, gain different perspectives and that translates through the music. Being from the UK and moving around at a younger age from Tanzania, Ghana, and Uganda, along with his ties to the United States “CLBRKS” shows the experience gained from being well cultured and well rounded. Speaking of the states Conrad is dropping some new gems coming 2026 w/ “Fresh Daily” who is from the Big Apple, you can preview a snippet of the new music directly below.

With the creativity steady flowing the UK rapper has released a substantial amount of music over the years, and over the past two years has been no different with the release of his album titled “CLBELLIC” and his new EP titled “Talking to the Echoes” w/ Kurt Terese. I’m looking forward to hearing new music from Conrad Brooks Especially the music dropping with Fresh Daily, that sounds like something we need in the sport.

There are a few on the music scene that I feel is reviving the sport we love called Hip-hop, the East London lyricist just so happens to fall into that hat, and I believe he hasn’t really been planted yet; he is just scratching the surface to what he is cable of. If you take listen and rock with what u hear give him a follow on IG: @yungpuff6hunna

I’ve survived the coldest waters, navigating boarders, see us on the streets please hide wives and daughters
