Nojo Wallace
I have been at this for a minute and when I come across something that’s profound, I genuinely can feel it in my bones. That’s what we have here today something profound in “Nojo Wallace” who is on a special run coming off of his new album titled “Goldie II” the follow-up to the 2025 album “Goldie”.
Nojo Wallace is an artist from Arlington, Texas letting the world know that there are some talented artists in Dallas. I took a few listens to his “Goldie” album that was released last year and right off the bat Nojo Wallace gained a new fan of his music with “Openingcredits”, where he said
“I think Ive come to terms that I may just be, the villain in someone else’s story I’m now at peace, see I got bills and a lot of stress and a son to feed, and not enough room to worry about how you feel bout me ”
If you have kids or can relate to that “You Gone Feel Me”. Nojo didn’t stop there, he doubled down on the project with amazing records like “Okletsgo”, “Closingcredits” and “ionlikedat” feating Pierce Washingston & Scuttino who happens to be signed to the same manager as Nojo Wallace.
Ive been out in the Dallas nightlife plenty of times over the years, but last night was my first time stepping out and really getting submerged into the music culture in Dallas, and I must say there is plenty of opportunity for growth with the amount of talent that’s in the city.
I got a chance to soak up some knowledge from Nojo Wallaces manager during his own version of a “TedTalk”, I always keep my ears open to gems dropped by people in the same fields as myself so it was a pleasure to be in attendance.
Before popping out and meeting Nojo I heard through the grapevine that “Goldie II” was one of them ones, taking a listen to the new project I can hear the progression in the music and the hunger is something that is undeniable but, in my opinion, I think the best of Nojo Wallace has yet to come.
While listening to AT speak about what managers look for in artist he spoke about the difference between a good artist and a “Special” artist, I know when I see something special and Nojo is the epitome of that.
