Vel Nine says she on her Makeup, Hair, & BS 💅
When I heard about Vel Nine I feel in love with her esthetic. From her raw and nostalgic raps to her unique fashion style Vel Nine is creating waves in the Hip-hop scene for years to come. The Griselda type production from Nuglife brings her music to life, especially on the record “Makeup, Hair, & BS” which is a crazy record. Coming from Los Angeles California Vel Nine is well known on the west coast, I think she is one of the dopest female MC's coming out the west check out her latest project accompanied by the single “Makeup, Hair, & Bs” called “Nina”. That whole project is produced by Nuglife, these two paired together make for a crazy dynamic on wax.
The project starts off with “Nina” and progresses throughout the project showcasing who she is as a artist, from the harder records to some smoother joints like “Rude Bone” one of my favorite records on the project is “Who is You” which brings you a 90s Era feel with the production.
Recently Vel Nine released a new single called “Dying 2 Go” ft Sirrealist, Inzom, and Whose and another called “Gangsta Bitch” Vel Nine is as consistent as they come with her craft, if you take a look into her catalog she has a huge collection of projects and singles that’s sure to convert you into a fan of hers. Outside of the project “Nina” i’ve really come to enjoy her project “Trophy Wife” along with many other songs she has been apart of like the record she did with my guy “Eddie Zuko” who I have covered on here before.
